Beta privacy notice · draft
How the staging beta handles information
This operational notice describes the current private-beta implementation. It is not a claim of legal compliance and must receive professional legal review before public enrollment.
Information used
The service uses account identity, optional student-profile details, question responses, mastery history, diagnostics, tutor conversations, coaching records, support requests, and security audit events to provide and protect the learning experience.
AI processing
Relevant learning evidence may be sent server-side to the configured AI provider. Account identifiers are replaced by one-way pseudonymous identifiers, provider storage is disabled in the request, and API credentials never reach the browser. AI can be inaccurate; saved answers and deterministic calculations remain authoritative.
Analytics choices
Essential operational events are recorded to save sessions, measure reliability, and investigate errors. Optional pseudonymous product analytics and any future de-identified research use are off unless the account holder chooses them in Account settings.
Access, export, deletion, and support
Signed-in users can download an account export, change optional privacy choices, submit a support request, or request account deletion. Deletion is reviewed so required security and billing records can be handled safely under the final retention policy.
Current launch limitation
The beta is restricted to invited staging accounts using synthetic or de-identified data. Age, region, parental-consent, school-contract, retention, and regulatory requirements remain public-launch gates.
